Undertrial Santosh Dubey appears for Assam Police constable exam

SILCHAR: Santosh Dubey, an undertrial at Hailakandi jail, on Sunday appeared in the examination for the post of constables in Assam Police. Dubey, who was arrested on December last year by Lala police from Manipur Bagan, Katlicherra in a robbery case, sought permission from the administration to appear in the examination. He was escorted by the police from Hailakandi jail to the DNNK School in Silchar. Dubey was allowed to sit in a separate room and after the examination, he was taken back to Hailakandi jail.
